Deleting your account is permanent. It removes your Vela account and everything backed up to it: birth chart, cycle settings and period logs, symptom, mood, energy and sleep logs, medications and supplements, moon journal entries and Advisor conversation history.
Option 1 — In the Vela app or website
- Open Vela and sign in.
- Tap your profile picture (top right) to open Account & Settings.
- Scroll to Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. Data stored only on your device is cleared on that device as well.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't sign in, email velanourish@proton.me from the email address of your Google account with the subject "Delete my Vela account". We will delete the account and all associated data within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted: your account and all health, cycle, chart and Advisor data backed up to it.
- Not stored by us in the first place: if you used Vela without an account, your data was only on your device — clear it in the app under Account & Settings → Reset all data, or by clearing your browser/app data.
- Kept by third parties under their own policies: anonymous analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) that is not linked to your account, and — if you subscribed in the Android app — Google Play's own purchase records. Deleting your Vela account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
